OME’s engineering objective was to develop a complete 4 inch lift kit for the 2007+ Jeep Wrangler JK both 2 door and 4 door variants. After researching the market on what options were available and the solutions that competitors offered, a decision was made to offer a value for money, well-engineered solution that provides excellent ride and handling characteristics. OME is offering an integrated 4 inch kit that easily bolts on and has undergone countless hours of engineering and testing. Lifting the JK Wrangler ride height beyond 2 inches introduces a range of new challenges which the OME engineers have addressed with a complete suspension solution. Unlike numerous aftermarket JK suspension systems on the market that only target lift height, OME offers a complete boxed kit that contains all the required components to fine tune the suspension for ride height and additional weight of accessories.

Old Man Emu designed their suspension systems to improve ride, handling, and load carrying ability. If your vehicle does not have any extra weight from added accessories or equipment. This suspension kit allows fitment of 32” tires to provide the best performance. This kit produces incredible handling for stock vehicle and gives 2” of lift. In this kit you will find front and rear coil springs, front and rear coil isolators, bump stop kit, and 4 shocks.
The OMEJK4 includes the Nitrocharger Sport Shock AbsorbersA new front Nitrocharger sport shock (60066M) was developed which allows 4” of down travel at the 4 inch lift. Careful consideration was given to maximize the down travel but also to ensure the front drive shaft doesn’t bind and no need for a costly replacement drive shaft (Ref Note page 5). Both front and rear Nitrocharger Sport shocks have vehicle specific valving tuned for optimal blend of ride control and comfort. Shock lengths have been optimized for maximum down travel while retaining factory drive shafts, brake lines and shock mounts.
Due to variations in vehicle weights (aftermarket accessories), trim packers are included to adjust the ride height. When fitting larger tires, aftermarket wheels (rims) with greater offset (less backspacing) may be required to clear swaybar links and control arms.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For 4.5" Lift on 2012+ JK Unlimited
The new 3.6L Pentastar power plant on the 2012-2013 JKs changed the positioning of the stock Y-Pipe. When a lift kit is installed the clearance between the exhaust and the driveshaft is dramatically reduced and the risk of contact damage is greatly increased, especially when traveling in rough off-road terrain.
The aFe Mach Force XP Y-Pipe re-routes the exhaust to provide the necessary clearance to clear the drive shaft. It is recommended for 2012 and newer Jeep Wrangler JKs with 3.5" lift or higher, especially those used in extreme off-road conditions. It is required for installation of 4" or higher aftermarket lift kits on 2012 and newer Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimiteds. The aFe Y-Pipe maintains the factory "Loop" to keep engine back-pressure equal.
