The AEV Heat Reduction Hood gives your Wrangler's motor fresh air, thus providing the highly critical cooling it needs. The all-steel construction is accentuated with clean, rolling lines that add both functionality and character to the front end of your Jeep.
The centered cowl of the hood is designed to exploit the front edge's low-pressure area that is created at speed. The strategic placement allows colder outside air to be pulled through the radiator area, up and over the engine where it exits out the hood. The AEV Heat Reduction Hood contains OE-style crumple zones and is delivered ready for paint in an e-coated finish. Side mesh inserts can be removed to allow for the installation of an AEV Snorkel Kit.
