AEV Nth22232AA Bilstein 5160 Remote Reservoir Shocks

Our AEV-tuned Bilstein 5160 Remote Reservoir Shocks provide high-performance for Jeeps traveling over long distances of harsh terrain. They are custom tuned by Bilstein and AEV engineers specifically for AEV's DualSport Suspension kits. The major factor of the 5160 is the remote reservoir which provides an oversized gas chamber as compared to the conventional Bilstein 5100 Series Shocks. The larger chamber lends increased tolerance to the oil expansion and pressure increases that occur as the shock's temperature rises from extended use. The end result is less oil foaming, a more consistent ride and better performance. The 5160 Remote Reservoir Shocks are included with the AEV DualSport RS Suspension kit, but can also be purchased seperately for existing owners of DualSport kits.
