MetalCloak's Game-Changer Suspension offers top of the line performance using patented technology not offered anywhere else. Patented Duroflex joints are where it all starts by transforming the traditional clevite and flex joint design into a low maintenance rubber compound joint that eliminates control arm binding as well as micro-wear that is prone to happen in most joints over time. The next step taken by MetalCloak is proper control arm alignment. Most aftermarket control arms are manufactured misaligned from center to reduce production costs. MetalCloak cuts no corners with joints that are centered and aligned to greatly reduce wear and tear on the bushings, as well as helping to make installation easier to accomplish. Threaded forged ends provide a 37% higher fatigue strength over cast parts to ensure these arms can hold up to whatever you throw at them. MetalCloak's True Dual Rate Coils offer one of the longest free lengths in the industry while being sure not sacrifice OEM ride quality. These coils help provide excellent articulation off-road with excellent on-road manners. The next piece to the puzzle is MetalCloak's patented Durotrak Bushing which is a NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) bushing crafted from a proprietary elastomer compound not found on other track bars. This two piece bushing threads together to make install and replacement much easier than the traditional press-in bushing, while also reducing vibration and harshness transferred to the driver. This bushing design ultimately helps to improve vehicle steering input. Most track bars are designed with down-travel in mind, but not MetalCloak's. Their track bars are designed with both down-travel and up-travel in mind to further improve off-road articulation and performance. This is one of the many reasons why MetalCloak lift kits offer some of the greatest articulation capabilities in the industry. MetalCloak's Front Adjustable Bump Stop System allows adjustments to be made without having to remove coils, and features a thermoset elastomer material that helps dampen impact. Rear Adjustable Bump Stops created from the same material as the fronts include four rectangular pucks per side to allow easy adjustments when needed. MetalCloak's Outboard Shock Mounts are designed to move the lower shock mounts away from the Jeep frame rails to provide increased shock clearance at extreme articulation. Keep in mind if using OEM wheels these mounts will require you to use two inch wheel spacers for clearance purposes. Shocks are the last and final piece of what places MetalCloak a step above the competition. The patented 6Pak Shock has revolutionized the shock industry by featuring parallel shafts extended from a floating body, centralized by dual opposing reservoirs. This revolutionary feature allows for twice the usual stroke over typical industry shocks. The RockSport Shock is another option that isn't just any regular old shock. RockSport Shocks are valved and specifically tuned to work with MetalCloak True Dual-Rate Coils. Both shock options keep articulation in mind while also ensuring a smooth ride. • Due to the long-travel MetalCloak suspensions provide, factory drive shafts will contact OEM components and wear quickly when at the extremes of articulation. An aftermarket driveshaft will be needed. (Front Auto Transmission Drive Shaft)
• MetalCloak engineers have chosen shocks that have been proven to have the ideal synergy with our systems. We have not tested other shocks on the market as to whether or not they compliment our Game-Changer system or suppress its performance.
