The Mopar 82215355AC Oversize Spare Tire Carrier Modification Kit is designed for Jeep Wrangler JL owners looking to modify their factory spare tire carrier to accommodate larger tire assemblies. Built as a genuine Mopar accessory, this kit helps support oversized spare tire setups while retaining the factory rear mounted spare location. It features a durable black corrosion-resistant finish for long-lasting protection and a clean appearance.
Ideal for lifted Jeep Wrangler JL builds or vehicles running larger-than-stock tires, this modification kit provides the components needed to upgrade the existing spare tire mounting setup for improved tire clearance and compatibility.

- (1) Take-Off Top & (1) Bottom Brackets, 82215355AB
- (4) Take-Off Top & (4) Bottom Shims, 68413707AA
- (8) New Flanged Nuts, (8) M8 Hex Bolts, & (16) M8 Retention Washers, 68413711AA
- (2) New Cut to Length Polyurethane Tire Bump Stops, 16053-5300
Everything included in this kit is genuine Mopar with the exception of the tire bump stops. The tire bump stops included are cut to length to accommodate for your specific wheel and tire.
Tailgate Reinforcement System (P/N 82215356AC) is also required for installation, and is sold separately.
The spare tire carrier is not included. We recommend the TeraFlex Alpha HD tire mount designed to accommodate up to a 40 inch tire, and crafted from CNC laser cut steel.
