The Extreme 60 is a complete bolt-in axle assembly with all required brackets and mounts in place. However, note that the factory driveshaft will require modification or replacement to accommodate the larger 60 series housing and 1350 series u-joint.

With a nodular iron center section and load bolt to prevent deflection, the Extreme 60 is the strongest 60 series casting available. Its radius bottom center section delivers unmatched ground clearance, and its replaceable AR400 hardened steel skid plate resists deformation and gouging to slide over obstacles far better than iron housings or mild steel plates.

The included heavy-duty tie rod features a 1.375 in. OD x .375 wall heat-treated chromoly tube and 1-ton forged rod ends that are designed to withstand off-road abuse and large tires. And with a high volume flow-thru recirculating oil system, the pinion bearings are bathed in cool oil, reducing operating temperatures and eliminating oil starvation issues.

The Extreme 60 also features large 3.5-inch diameter .375 wall axle tubes that are three times stronger than the stock Advantek 44 without sacrificing ground clearance, as well as massive forged 1-ton inner knuckles that are designed to stand up to the severe punishment of larger tires without flinching. The Currie nodular iron front cover protects expensive internals, adds structural support to the housing's face flange, and locates the driver’s side upper control arm mount.

Finally, the Extreme 60 comes with 14.250 in. 8-lug vented rotors and OE Gladiator truck dual-piston calipers that provide the power required to stop your JL, without the cost or availability issues of exotic brakes. And with a black satin powder coat finish, it adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your Extreme 60 looking its best.

If you're looking for the ultimate front axle for your Jeep Wrangler JK or JKU, the Currie Extreme 60 is the perfect choice. With its superior strength and exclusive features, you'll be able to conquer even the toughest routes and obstacles with ease.
