When Jeep first released the 2007 Wrangler JK, there were many suspension companies trying to build lift kits for it. Unfortunately, most of these attempts were disastrous. With the complicated on-board active suspension, it was no longer as simple as changing springs and shocks to lift a new Wrangler. Lifted Wrangler handled poorly both on and off road. While other companies were scratching their heads, AEV developed the ProCal. This "tuner" allowed the on-board computer systems to be dialed in to the new geometry of the lifted vehicle. Even today, many suspension lift companies recommend or even sell AEV's ProCal for use with their lift kits.

The same meticulous, scientific approach AEV took with the ProCal goes into every lift kit they produce. The AEV DualSport SC Suspension System improves upon the DualSport XT Kit with the addition of some added components. The AEV DualSport SC Lift Kit now includes our High Steering Kit, ProCal Module and Jack Base. Our High Steering Kit, by correcting the roll center height of the front suspension, improves steering response. The ProCal Module gives you the ability to correct the speedometer and gear ratio when larger tires are installed in addition to many other features. Of course, the DualSport SC includes our AEV-tuned Bilstein 5100 Shocks and frequency-tuned Coil Springs, With the ability to handle up to 35" Tires with the 3.5" Lift (stock fenders), or 37" Tires flat fenders, the AEV DualSport SC Suspension gives you the driving experience Wrangler JK owners have come to expect.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: For 3.5"+ Lift on 2012+ JK Unlimited

If you have a 3.5" lift or taller, we highly recommend upgrading your rear swaybar as well. This sway bar by Hellwig Products is a shop favorite. It makes you more confident and more in control when taking turns or in the event that you have to make an emergency brake and swerve. It also removes all of the body sway you might experience when passing or getting passed by semi trucks/tractor trailers on the highway in your Jeep. It improves your ride in town, on the highway, and doesn't limit your Jeeps off-road capability when combined with sway bar disconnects.
