RockSport RED Long Travel Shock, JK Wrangler, Rear, Pair

The MetalCloak 1009 refers to MetalCloak RockSport RED Long Travel rear shock absorbers designed specifically for lifted Jeep Wrangler JK (2007–2018) applications. These twin-tube, nitrogen-charged shocks are valved and tuned to work with MetalCloak’s suspension system—including their True Dual-Rate coil springs—to deliver improved ride quality, increased wheel travel, and better control on- and off-road compared to stock shocks. The 1009 RockSport RED rear shocks are engineered to fit JKs with approximately 3.5″ to 4.5″ of lift, making them a great match for common lift kits in that range. They should be paired with compatible front shocks and appropriate lift springs to ensure proper suspension geometry and performance.
