Tekonsha v90160 Trailer Brake Control

The Tekonsha V90160 (often referred to simply as the Tekonsha 90160 Primus IQ) is a proportional electric trailer brake controller designed to provide smooth, responsive braking for trailers with electric brake systems. It senses how quickly your tow vehicle slows down and automatically applies the appropriate amount of braking power to the trailer’s brakes, giving you more controlled and balanced stops compared with basic time-delay controllers. The compact unit mounts neatly under the dash and features an easy-to-read LED display, self-diagnostic monitoring, a boost function for extra stopping power when towing heavier loads, and a manual override for added control, and it works with trailers having up to three axles (six brakes). Its self-leveling design means you don’t have to adjust it after installation, and it uses a snap-in dash mount and plug-and-play wiring for simple setup and removal when not in use.
